Susan Taylor-Gol is 45 yrs young, a mother of 3 lovely children, and a wife to Amoz, who is a former kibbutznik from northern Israel. She was born in NYC and grew up with an appreciation for the arts, with successful and prolific artists for parents. She currently resides in Fairfax, VA and Thornhill, ON.
While Susan enjoys yoga, REIKI, meditation, and dance, her passion is for the INTUITIVE VISUAL MANIPULATIVE ARTS. Her art expresses her connection to Judaism and her love of Israel. She incorporates the warmth of Israeli culture and the richness of Judaism in her art by way of her usage of Judaic and Middle Eastern symbolism, as well as her usage of color, resulting in pieces that are characterized by an essence of spirituality. Her focus is on the art mediums which she has experimented with during her years in Canada: watercolor, acrylic, needlework, and clay. Susan's art often has a 3 dimensional quality, with the addition of beads and gemstones purchased in Israel. Her usage of English and Hebrew language MICRO CALIGRAPHY VERBAL MESSAGES connects her art to the spiritual and philosophical growth she has experienced in Canada through her extensive work with the healing and creative arts. Each completed piece is a mirror reflecting her deepest thoughts and emotions, allowing her to connect with her heritage and beliefs in a meaningful and creative way.
Susan's work is often inspired by the beautiful scenery in the Galil region of Israel's northern territory...where she and her husband are currently in the process of building a home.
Susan looks forward to working with creative souls through her well established Healing Cooperative, with art workshops, meditations, sharing circles, healing exchanges, and REIKI practice, as she continues painting daily to keep up with the demand for her greeting cards and commissioned art by STGdesigns.
As the Director of The Healing Cooperative, Susan offers members her skills at bringing people together, motivating others to develop themselves, and managing an entity which will grow quickly and allow members to manifest all that is good and sweet in their lives!
